Bio

I am a Bioengineering PhD student at Stanford University working in the Bao Group to develop the next generation of neural interfaces through the combination of polymer engineering and neuroscience. I previously studied at Case Western Reserve University (B.S. Neuroscience, Minors in Computer Science and Mathematics). I am driven by curiosity and impact, and hope to bridge academic discovery and commercial translation to develop tools towards the goals of uncovering the nature of consciousness, facilitating empathetic connection among humans, and restoring the ability to interact with society for those who suffer from debilitating maladies. I have founded student clubs focused on neurotechnology and prosthetics, founded (and now advise) a startup building the next generation of human–computer interaction (Volition), and I currently lead a nonprofit (AIIM) aiming to facilitate the integration of AI into medicine. In my free time I like to play pickleball, boulder, ski, lift, run, and build.
